Registration Policies

  • All prices and schedules are subject to change without notice.
  • A late fee of $31.00 will be applied to all racing team athletes registering after May 5, 2017.
  • The Pointe-Claire Canoe Club reserves the right to cancel any program in the event of insufficient registration.
  • Please note that our programs have limited space. All registrations are on a first come, first served basis.
  • Telephone registrations and reservations are not accepted.
  • Full payment must be made at the time of registration.
  • Online payment must be made by credit card only (Visa or MasterCard).
  • Family members must share a permanent address.


Online Registration

  • Registration begins Monday, April 3, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. (for residents). Non-residents may register as of Thursday, April 6, 2017, at 7:00 p.m.
  • Please note that all participants must have a Pointe-Claire client ID to register for programs at the Pointe-Claire Canoe Club. For info on how to obtain a Pointe-Claire client ID, click here.
  • Payment by Visa or MasterCard only. Full payment is due at the time of registration in one single transaction.
  • Family Profile Form – Each family registering must complete a family profile form. Upon completion of payment, you will be directed via a link (in red) to this form. The form may also be found on the left hand side of the registration web page under the “forms” button. Upon completion, it must be submitted online.
  • If you wish to obtain a discount for the following programs, you must call the Canoe Club in advance and identify the members that will benefit from the discount. If you do not confirm this information before your registration, the discount will not be activated when you register.


    • Couples discount on the registration fee for a couple registered in the Adult Competitive Program.
    • Second Child discount on the registration fee for children from the same family that are registered in a Youth Competitive program.


2017 Refund Policy

Request for refunds must be in writing, indicating:

  • Reasons for the request;
  • Dates to be refunded;
  • Name and mailing address of the person receiving the refund; and
  • Name of participant(s).


Recreational and Competitive Programs

A cancellation fee of $25.00 per participant will be applied to a recreational or competitive program that is dropped more than 7 days prior to its start date. Less than 7 days before the start date or after the program has begun, a cancellation fee of 50% of the registration cost will apply.


Open Paddling

A cancellation fee of $25.00 per participant will be applied if the activity is dropped before its start date. After the start date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the registration cost will apply.


No cash refunds will be issued. A refund cheque will be mailed by the City of Pointe-Claire. Please allow 4-6 weeks for processing.

Absences are non-refundable and non-transferable.
