Midget & Juvenile

U15 (2002-2003)

During the peak season, U15 groups train twice a day, five days a week. Athletes are expected to participate in a minimum of two local regattas as well as the Provincial Championships in August.

 

The Club offers two forms of the U15 competitive program. You will have the option to register either for summer only, or for the summer and spring and/or fall. Please note that registration for summer is mandatory.

Racing+ Program

 

A modified schedule may be offered to some groups (TBD in May). This schedule will include additional trainings including one or multiple trainings per week at the Olympic Basin. This group of athletes may have the opportunity to participate in events such as: Coupe Jeunesse, Canada Cup, 16+ Provincials and Nationals. The athletes for this group will be chosen based on certain criteria and it is intended for athletes that are registered for Spring, Summer and Fall sessions.

Policies

  1. The Pointe-Claire Canoe Club reserves the right to cancel practices and activities due to weather or water conditions.
  2. All members of the Club must wear a personal floatation device (PFD) supplied by the Club.
  3. The fees do not include the cost of the racing singlet (jersey) and some competition fees for the competitive programs.
  4. A practice, activity or training session may be cancelled with no prior notice because of a special event.
  5. All programs, except Open Paddle, will be cancelled on May 22, June 24-26, July 1-3 and September 4, 2017.
  6. The Pointe-Claire Canoe Club reserves the right to change the schedule with notice.
