U9 & U11

These athletes have four 90-minute training sessions per week and a fun regatta every Thursday. They will also have the opportunity to participate in two regional regattas on weekends and are strongly encouraged to attend the Provincial Championships in August.


The Club will be offering extended hours for the U9 - U11 program. Athletes who join will have the opportunity to have extra time at the club participating in on water activities and drills being supervised by a monitor.

Policies

  1. The Pointe-Claire Canoe Club reserves the right to cancel practices and activities due to weather or water conditions.
  2. All members of the Club must wear a personal floatation device (PFD) supplied by the Club.
  3. The fees do not include the cost of the racing singlet (jersey) and some competition fees for the competitive programs.
  4. A practice, activity or training session may be cancelled with no prior notice because of a special event.
  5. All programs, except Open Paddle, will be cancelled on May 22, June 24-26, July 1-3 and September 4, 2017.
  6. The Pointe-Claire Canoe Club reserves the right to change the schedule with notice.
